Stop Cheque

  1. What is Stop Cheque Service?
    A “Stop Cheque” is a service provided to prevent a cheque you wrote from being cashed. For a stop cheque request to work, your request must be made and processed before the cheque is cashed.
    Occasionally, a cheque with a stop cheque may still be cashed if incomplete or incorrect information is given to your bank regarding the amount or date of the cheque, or to whom the cheque was written. If a stop cheque doesn't work and your cheque is cashed, you are still responsible to your financial institution for the amount owing. In order to get the money back, you will have to contact the person or organization to whom you wrote the cheque.

  2. What is fate of cheque ?
    Fate of cheque is a service provided to you through which you can see the status of your cheque, weather it is cleared, stopped or it is in process etc.

Beneficiaries

  1. Who can I name as a beneficiary?
    You may name any person, trust, or entity as a beneficiary.

  2. How do I add a beneficiary ?
    • Log in to your account with your Customer ID and password.

    • Select Beneficiaries, then select Add Beneficiaries from the drop down.

    • Select the type of beneficiaries.
      • For Within Bank Beneficiary :
        Select Credit Branch code, Account list and account number and press Get Name. You will see the beneficiary details on the screen. Click Add and you are done!!

      • For Other Bank NEFT / RTGS Beneficiary :
        Select IFSC code of the beneficiary bank to which the beneficiary belongs. Enter account type, beneficiary name, beneficiary account number, E-mail Id and click Add.



  3. How often can I update my beneficiaries?
    You can update your beneficiaries as often as you want.

  4. How long will it take to transfer funds once I register a beneficiary?
    You can transfer funds to a beneficiary 24 hours after registering him/her as a beneficiary.

  5. What is the maximum number of beneficiaries I can add ?
    You can add up to 10 beneficiaries at the most. This limit is decided by the bank.

Account Enquiry

  1. How can I check my Account balance through internet banking?
    Log in to your account using your Customer ID and Password. Go to the ‘Accounts’ section.
    Select ‘Balance Enquiry/Statement Enquiry’ from the drop down. Here you will see options for balance enquiry and transactions enquiry. Select the appropriate option.

  2. How can I inquire about the transactions made by me in a certain period of time?
    Log in to your account using your Customer ID and password. Go to the ‘Accounts’ section. Select ‘Balance Enquiry/Statement Enquiry’ from the drop down. Click on ‘Statement’ for the respective account number. On this page you have a date criteria where you can select the period of time over which you want to inquire the transaction details.

  3. How can I enquire about my last Five or Ten transactions?
    Log in to your account using your Customer ID and password. Go to the ‘Accounts’ section. Select ‘Balance Enquiry/Statement Enquiry’ from the drop down. Click on ‘Statement’ for the respective account number. Here is an option ‘Last “N” transactions’. Here you can select upto last 20 transactions from the drop down list.

  4. How often can I check my transactions?
    You can check transactions linked under your Customer ID as often as you want.
